16 and 0?

Steelers win tonight and 16 and 0 is a possibility. Two Ravens' game only other real tough games.

will Tenn be blowing their noses again with the terrible towel or wiping their tears? hopefully the later.

If the Steelers go 16-0 as defending Super Bowl champs I will be very surprised.

steelers won't go 16-0, it's awful tought to even go 14-2....Ravens twice, a better Bengals team twice and even the Browns twice...and don't laugh about the last one, it is a rivalry game and look what the Browns did to the Giants last year in prime time....plus San Diego usually gives them a tough time and it won' t be in the snow this year, they have Green Bay, Minnesota and Miami closes the season when the game may mean more to the Dolphins then the Steelers.....time will tell.

  • Pitts needs to realize they are a better passing team and give up the run - best tight end in football and best package of receivers in football.

Franco is gone, the Bus is gone - time for a West Coast offense.

Also first game of the year and it was Ten so I think just getting a win is great for the team. Roethlisberger looked awesome as well.

  • Nice way to start off the season with a W. Hopefully Troy gets back quickly. It seemed like he was in on just about every defensive play. Ward and Holmes scored really well for my fantasy team too. Too bad Willie Parker didn't. My fantasy teams always have Steelers, but this time I went a little overboard!

As the Pats can attest to; going 16-0 doesn't mean a thing unless you go 19-0.

True, and I don't want that added pressue, lose a game or two early, get on a big steamroller run and hit the playoffs like a screaming banshee. I think the AFC is wicked hard this year.

Steelers were fortunate to win this one...no way they go 16-0, and Parker looks about 45 years old out there. They'll lose at least 3-4 games, but they are the team to beat as long as Ben is at the helm...

  • time will tell - last year they had the toughest NFL schedule in 25 years and went 12-4 in regular season. This year is a much easier schedule and with a better team.

That just shows how difficult it really is. If it was easy it would have been done more than once.
