Introducing Magic Power Coffee ¡ª which, according their web site, is like ¡°two Viagra in a Starbucks latte.¡± Mitchell is all over Twitter promoting the product and its AllXClub ¡°Invitation Only: Special Pre-Launch, September 1 ¨C September 15¡å. And you know that Mitchell wouldn¡¯t steer you wrong: He once showed up at an Eagles¡¯ press conference wearing oven mitts, saying ¡°I¡¯d like to thank my hands for being so great.¡±
What exactly is Mitchell¡¯s connection with the product? I just got off the phone with a happy gentleman named Alfred, who said he had no idea. Alfred works for a company called Discount Marketing, which is promoting Magic Coffee. Eventually the conversation got a little weird.
¡°We know Freddie very well,¡± Alfred said, in a distinct German accent. ¡°But I don¡¯t know what his role is with Magic Coffee. I could find out for you. But calling Freddie is always different. Sometimes it takes three days for him to get back to you, because he¡¯s in the Caribbean or something.¡±
Then Alfred promised to send me some Magic Coffee samples. Until he reports back, or I get the coffee, the facts on their web site will have to do. More info here.
AllXClub is multi-level marketing company that allows independent business owners to sell a variety of products, including Magic Coffee. That¡¯s what Mitchell is doing, I suppose ¡ª although his role could be more substantial.
Mitchell played four seasons for the Eagles before being released in 2005 amidst controversy (badmouthing Terrell Owens and Donovan McNabb). He was then signed by the Chiefs but released before the regular season began.
Since then he¡¯s been a substitute teacher ¡ª where he was fired allegedly for asking girls for their phone numbers ¡ª and a co-owner for Freddie¡¯s Brother¡¯s Barbeque. In that venture, Mitchell was investigated for having seven pounds or marijuana sent to the business.
He has a lot of other ventures going as well, which he¡¯ll gladly tell you about on his blog.
