I take it during flu season and when I don't feel well or have a sore throat and it takes care of the problem. The guy was stupid he ingested high ppm's of silver over a long period of time. This is a known reaction and the product is like anything else taking more isn't better and could be dangerous he's lucky this is more cometic than something that will cause a health problem. Really CS has been used for centuries but wasn't understood it was noted during the black plague that royalty may have been spared due to them using silver everything causing a leaching effect. That isn't controlled so dosages are important.
Here's an great product that could be better than CS but I use both and with the swine flu about will take both:

I, for one, am of the opinion that the Human Body is very good at handling its own problems.
Many folks once thought that Zinc was good when you got a cold.
The reasoning is that when you have a cold, your body's Zinc level goes down.
However, more recent knowledge indicates that Zinc is very important, biologically, to the germs.
The body knows to purge your Zinc level to make an unfriendly, nutrient deficient environment for the germs.
Taking additional Zinc just makes your body work harder and feeds the germs.
Who knows if that is right or wrong. I err on the side of not supporting the drug/pill companies.
I, personally, do not think that herbal medicine can outsmart the bodys own chemistry. "western" medicine is still learning and doesn't necessarily have it right either.
That said, if you are getting a real benefit from something you are taking, then that's great! Just be certain it is not illusory. So many thing in life are.
