Grades popped from '79 Topps Vending Group Rip....

Most were no where what I had hoped for... just submitted these 13... didn't think anything else was worthy.

I just "knew" most at 9's... oh well, shows what I know. I can see the 5's maybe having a surface wrinkle that I missed... but a 7??? Can't wait to see what I missed on that one.
Also... gotta love those "minimum size" cards that come straight from vending cases. Not sure what to make of those. Will have to size them up when they get back.

Just a couple other highlights from this poppage:

I sent a few '79s in just to see how they would grade. The 8 for your Ozzie is a good grade. I suspect the 5's had small surface spider wrinkles. I had a few cards that showed those when tilted in good light.
Currently working on: Kurt Warner PSA 9 or 10

  • I don't get all the numbers ... but a picture might help.

Those 79s were brutal!!! I have a sub that just logged in that contains 25 79's from a rack box that I bought from BBCE at the national. My ozzie way o/c and i expect an 8 o/c on it. As for the rest of my 79s I expect several 8's, 9's, and hopefully a few 10's. I have my fingers crossed that my Bobby Bonds could be the first psa 10 of that card. I'll post the results as soon as I get them.

After seeing these results, I feel better about keeping my 79 vending box sealed..image
