QUESTION RE: Selling Gold at a Coin Show

Just curious, I have never been to a major coin show and am hoping to attend the Philly show later this month.
I may want to sell 2 or 3 ounces of bullion/AGE's/First Spouses so I can buy something I really like
Is it generally advisable to sell these sorts of items at a major show? Or should I take care of it ahead of time?
If so, who would you recommend as buying at the best prices?

I hope he meant melt value but he may have been refering to a typical B&M coin dealer.
