Shouldn't this type of information be disclosed to consignors BEFORE they consign?

I certainly wouldn't my coins being auctioned at 3:00 AM.

Savvy consignors know to negotiate the time of the auction of their collections, along with the other details.

Yes, I believe it is a disservice to have one's coins auctioned on the west coast at the same time east coast collectors are getting out of bed in the morning.

Yes. But short of picking an entirely different auction, you may not find any better time. I've spent some late nights watching $20 gold pieces go off at the end of some mammoth gold sessions. If you are selling the smaller denominations you are usually at the front of the line. But those with bigger gold, commems, dollars, exonumia, errors, patterns, etc. often got the late night seat.
