Ohio States Quarterback's comments regarding Michael Vick. IS HE SERIOUS? WOW!

Is this kid for real?

In case you can't understand what he says: ""Not everybody is a perfect person in the world. Everyone kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever."

I think you used the right word...kid. Yes he is legally an adult, but he is a young pup and obviously mispoke. He is obviously not a polished interviewer. Just listening to the clip..and not seeing anything else on the story....I decipher his meaning as "Everyone makes mistakes...we should give him a second chance. He is a football player who I admired for his ability as a teenager."

I am not ready to call for Pryor's head over using a poor choice of words. As his coach or A.D....yes I would cringe after hearing his response, but I would use it as a learning experience about how to respond to questions.

Big Daddy .. I understand where you are coming from , but when you are in the position that this kid is in, you really have to watch what you say and how you say it. To say we all make mistakes and we should give him a second chance ... I agree. HOWEVER, it's such a sad state of affairs when we have such young people saying "Everyone kills people ... everyone murders people".

  • And if he sticks around for three more years he will have a diploma from THE Ohio State University. Another Vince Young maybe? Good grief. You want to look up to a quarterback with running ability and a rocket arm? How about someone with class and a brain? How about Donovan McNabb?

Think Pryor was trying to express himself (very unsuccessfully everyone here would agree, I might add), just how bad it is out there!

Think this kid obviously didn't mean "everybody", he meant something else, "like there are murderers, killers, thieves out there".

And I guess something like, "Micheal Vick is better than a killer, murderer or a thief!" Right Pryor? image

Well, not exactly what you would expect from an Ohio State buckeye football players' team leader, ...a varsity QB?

He needs to learn how to express himself a little better.

    Actually, " a ton better"!

Nobody is that dumb to really mean "everybody is a murder, killer, and everyone steal from you and me, whatever!" You think? LOL!

Definitely will not be considered for the Ohio State debating team! image

I don't know about you, but I killed me around 5 people today before I got my morning coffee, then another 5 during breakfast. And I'm actually feeling pretty good today.

my mafia has done some damage since I got home....

let's face it, Pryor wasn't signed on to be an eloquent speaker.

Saddest part is that dirtbags like this moron actually have people standing around with microphones interested in what they're saying...

Didn't he have Vick written on his eye black during the game?

This kid is obviously ignorant, uneducated and probably at very best semi-literate.

His family must be so proud.

I can definately sense a college, fight the power vibe here. He and a group of friends probably got together and talked about how BS it is about what happened to Vick and told Pryor he had a chance to speak out for the "injustices" done to black men in the world. I am sure he and his group are very proud of how they took back the night and let everyone know that they support Vick.

However, I gurantee if they made Pryor or his buddies sit and watch dogs being butchered like Vicks were I am sure their opinion of what happened might change. It is very easy to just pretend it wasn't a big deal if you aren't exposed to the level of violence that was used but once exposed I don't think you would think the same way you once did.

  • The kids an idiot. He definitely has a full ride at THE Ohio State. He may need to attend his speech class, he looked nervous and it went downhill from there. What came out of his mouth was probably not what he meant. If he did pay tribute to "Vick" with his name on his eye black, lol, no comment on that one. I guess it's not good enough that Vick's playing in the NFL again and on a pretty damn good team to boot. Oh, never mind the multi-million dollar contract.
  • If you are going to wear a Vick eye band, you should assume that you will have to answer a question. He should have been better prepared and should have had an answer ready. BTW I don't know anyone in my life who has killed or murdered anyone - do you?
