    Lidge has been pretty lousy this season. Definitely needs to have his head checked. Madsen should step into the role nicely

    last time they allowed Madsen to close he gave up a few game tying, ending HRs to the Orioles.

    I trust myers guts, if not his stuff. I think they should make up an excuse and let Lidge go to the DL and not reactivate him unless his replacement (myers) utterly fails.

    Gotta do something. Still around 30 games left to "figure it out" before the playoffs but time is running short. I agree put him on the DL and bring him back with a "fresher arm" maybe a few games before the end of the regular season, then put him in and see how he does....or use him sparingly, very sparingly, and give the arm a chance to heal, and if he can't do it then go with someone else. Even Mitch Williams pitched better than this.
