Cheap shot sucker punch by Oregon State player

By now most of you have probably seen that on ESPN or online. A Boise State player was apparently
tauting an Oregon State player after the game and when he turned his head the Oregon State player
sucker punched him in the jaw and knocked him to the ground. Repercussions are coming for sure
with a suspension.

    Get it right Michigan it was a OREGON player not a Oregon State player. Being a Oregon fan I say kick him off the team. He has been somewhat of a problem before.

    Yeah I saw it live. What will get him in the biggest trouble I believe is when he tried to go into a group of fans that line the walkway to the player's locker room. Again a fan was taunting him. And the Boise State player that mockingly congratulated Blount should be disciplined, but Blount got what he deserved by being taunted. Before the game he said "we owe that team and a$$ whopping." I've always been told your mouth shouldn't write checks your backside can't cash.

    I wonder what that "0" stands for on his helmet, the class of LeGarrette Blount has or his IQ.

    I'm guessing 3 games minimum and he may be gone.

    Hout DESERVED IT! Im a Boise State fan, but when some scrub talks smack to a RB that just got shut down, and has a temper, it might happen. Boy did he get knocked the F out too lol. The fans were chanting over rated too, i honestly expected some fight...

    Heh, I confess I kinda liked it. When I first heard about it I thought how terrible, but then I saw it and thought that sumofabozo deserved. I guess that was a guilty pleasure.     It was a sucker punch, guy has no guts, watch, he waits until the guy from BS turns his head and isn't looking before he hits him. Gutless, if he was mad for getting smacked on the shoulder pad he should fight him like a man.

    Also he pushes and punches one of his own teamates
    Shoves a police or security person.
    Tries to go into the crowd and fight them.
    Has to be wrestled into the tunnel by about 10 people.

    Yeah he deserves to be on a team.

    The Boise State guy got what he deserved, and I don't think it was a sucker punch. He was facing him 1 second before. The Oregon player SHOULD be suspended for the season, but the Boise State player should also get suspended for a few games at least.

    Taunting in college football is a 15 yard personal foul. Unsportsmanlike conduct.

    Hitting, kicking, or punching in college football is an immediate ejection, and possible suspension.
    Hitting a guy without his helmet when he isn't looking goes beyond unsportsmanlike. He got
    exactly what he deserved.

    I missed the game- I looked at the video posted here and the whole incident is beyond unfortunate.

    First, its a game and people will remember sportsmanship.

    Second, while I did not hear anything it did look look as if words were exchanged and sportsmanship extends to saying the right thing at the right time which may not have transpired

    Third, both players deserve suspensions- I am not sure if it should be for the whole season, but this conduct is just unacceptable. Oregon and Boise State need to discipline both players

    image you dont think it was a sucker punch! Geez I would hate to see what you think a sucker punch is then!

    The guy turned away and he punched him acrosss the jaw- the guy was clearly not looking and never saw it coming, yes he is an idiot to rag on the guy and turn away from him but any way you slice it it was a cheap shot.

    And the guy never did get "Knocked the F out" either, he fell down and got right back up. The Oregon player got what he deserved, pushing his own teamates and going after the crowd? He is lucky he didnt get arrested..

    The guy has issues, he looked like he was ready to jump into the stands and go after some fans, and "sucker punch" them too!

    Oregon should dump him for good, not just for the year! There is no room at the college level for that kind of violence during a public event by a student athlete. Bye bye running back!
