My little road trip - jersey search today.

Took my soon to be 10 year old son on a little game worn jersey search today. He hates being in the house, and loves road trips to sports venues so that's what we did today before the crazy getaway weekend traffic begins tomorrow.

We left Salem, Massachsetts just before 10am, did breakfast (Dunkies), and headed down to our 1st stop Pawtucket, Rhode Island. This was our only planned stop, as we had been to a game a couple weeks ago and saw some gamers for sale. We hit the jersey jackpot there, 4 game worn jerseys, 12 game worn Batting Practice tops, and 4 Batting Practice jerseys. We decided from there why not try the Providence Bruins, 2nd stop came up empty. From there we headed to Hartford, Connecticut to check out the Hartford Wolfpack, what a joke, don't even have a team store, online sales only during the off-season, not even any freebies like schedules.

From Hartford we headed up to Springfield, Massachusetts to see what the Falcons had for us, we had been there in June, did the Hoop Hall of Fame (stinks BTW), and scored a couple jerseys then. They had a couple more for us this time. Headed home from there, about 2 hours.

Almost 400 miles and 22 jerseys later we arrived home just after 8pm. Now just before 10pm he is sleeping....not too big of a surprise.
