Since my item sold I Thought I would use this as a public service anouncement. Did you know you can receive paypal payments FEE FREE? All you need to do is have the buyer send the funds under the new Personal option paypal recently added. No more waiting for checks/Money orders! I've used this feature many times to the tune of Multiple thousands of dollars and have not been charged 1 cent from paypal.

    Holy crap...I think that's right. It even says it on Paypal's site.
    Positive BST transactions with: too many names to list! 36 at last count.

    been doing this for awhile! it is only good on transactions under $500 (things change?)

    I sent $775 dunno about the protection policy. I did not do a eBay thing. I'm still out $1,000 from a eBay purchase. PayPal did NOTHING about. You can go to the site and find out for yourself I'm sure. Cars is just trying to give notice to a good thing.

    I heard if you do the personal gift via paypal, you're not covered by paypal protection. Do it with only people you trust!

    I have a Premier/Bus account and it works fine for me.

    No limit on the amount I don't think. I received a multi thousand dollar payment yesterday absolutely NO FEES. You are NOT covered on the Protection plan with this so its only good for people you trust. I think you have to have the money in your paypal account or Bank account for this to work. Will not work from a Credit card. Also Paypal will not send the buyers Address for the payment b/c its not supposed to be for purchasing items.

    Its a great way to save some cash if you trust the person on the other side.

    just be sure to include your shipping address when you send payment...it will not include it in the payment unless you actually enter it.
