Went half dollar searching and found these

The 1994 is a P mint mark. I don't know that much about Kennedy halves but I didn't think they actually put the "P" on them. The second looks like it's missing the clad layer on it . It's a '93D.
What do you think?

  • It would have a coppery color if it was missing a clad layer. That one just has a weird surfaces resulting from some type of improper post-mint handling.

    I agree, not missing the clad layer

    They started putting the P on all coins except the cent in 1982.
    Hence you have the 1982 No P Dime being a rarity.

    I think it was 1980 that they started using the P, the SBA started in '79.
