Good place to find some mid-grade 1948-1972 commons?

I've got a small list of around 50 or so commons that I need to pick up from various years.

I've already cleaned out Mickeys Sporscards and Nam812's for cards I need.

Since most of these are fairly cheap cards, I'd prefer to get them in chunks, rather than one at a time.

    Has anyone ever used it??
  • I have bought before, They used to sell on Ebay before they opened the store under ebay id 555...

A little slow in shipping (takes about 10 days to get after placing order), and I would say a little over graded get some NRMT with bad corners, or surface crease (1 psa grade)... I would wait until they have a "special" running, they will list the items for 30-50% off...

Back in the mid 80s I used to get cards from Bill Henderson (a/k/a King of the Commons) from Wisconsin. He was always reliable and fair with his prices. When I googled him it brought me to his eBay store. It listed a phone number and said to call to fill your wantlists. The number listed is 608 755 0922.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Bill Henderson sells mostly through Beckett now. He has a lot of stuff on there. There are also a few other big sellers on Beckett Marketplace.

I'll throw in a plug for OBC-friendly dealer Kurt Tourdot. Very reasonable on prices, and easy to deal with. He's one of OBC's favorites for sure.
