PSA/DNA question

If I have an autographed card authenticated by another company and it is slabbed can I send it to PSA to be authenticate and reslabbed???? Or do I have to break it out of the slab and send it in??? thanks for your help in getting the correct answer. al.

thanks lawnmowerman, called and found out the answer is that I send it in for "crossover" service and if they deem it is in fact authentic they will reslab as appropriate. This is the card and I would think it would be eligible for crossover....although I never heard of Premium as a slabbing company before. al.

No problem. Glad you got your answer.

That slab looks exactly the same as PSA's slabs. I wonder if they buy them from the same company?

Don't know that answer but agree with ya....I picked this card up when I bought a collection awhile back and have been debating on whether to send it in to have it slabbed by PSA or not....I'll have to see if they can do it under the current special or if I'll have to send in for full price. Maybe I'll go to one of the other threads and ask the basketball experts on autos if it is worth the effort. thanks again. al.
  • Are you looking to just get it graded?

I'm trying to decide if I want to sell it or keep it. I like the looks of the PSA slabs better and either way may submit it. I just got a message back from Upper Deck and they verified that the card is valid. If PSA lets me submit under the current special I think I am going to submit...hey for $10 can't go wrong. al.
