A question on roll searching presidential dollars. (not my thing...I know!)

If you are a roll searcher...how many rolls do you typically look through in order to find one you think will grade at 67 or 68? What percentage grade at 66? 65?

Just curious. I like to look through rolls on occasion, I don't think I have found one that I considered above a 65.

I'd be interested in knowing as well.

I've put some aside, but don't think they'll grade high... but can't venture an estimated grade as I'm too new to this.

as an example of quantity, I've been through all 20 boxes of the direct ship limit on the Native American Dollars. more actually, as I've taken some off the hands of my bank when someone deposited some DS boxes there.

65 would be a typical grade.

    66 is not impossible

67 is quite possible depending upon year and president (i.e. 2007 Jefferson, 2008 Monroe)

    68 is quite rare

How many rolls have to be gone trough to get decent grades?

Thats really an open ended question as it totaly depends upon whether or not you get lucky. My one and only MS68 (non-Satin Finish) came out of about 70 Denver rolls.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
