has anyone experimented with removing the spots safely on the new lincoln?

    I can't claim to have gotten them all, but I did get most of them. Turned it gold too.

    This subject has been brought up NUMEROUS times before. Noone has had any success w/o altering the coins color/surface. I tried several things 2 years ago and nothing works w/o drastically changing the coins appearance. Those spots are on plague on the new Zincolnsimage

    ......it's a real shame. the quality is terrible. and if that's not bad enough, the mint is having problems with the 95% copper lincolns too!!image

    I use a drill press....gets rid of spots in a jiffy!

    Wire brushes do a better job.

    I'm just wondering if you removed them safely is all.
