It's my birthday and I'm poor. So I can't afford to buy any new purchases for myself as a gift. So I figured the next best thing would be to check out my fellow forumites cards/memorobilia. So I want to see your best Cardinals (baseball only please) and Brooklyn Dodger cards. Anything is fine: modern, GU, autoed, vintage, prewar, etc. Thanks!

This isn't an expensive card, but it's one of my favorites. This is one of several cards Nick (NAM) sent me for free last year when I started my Dodgers cards project. My grandfather who is 90 years old used to talk about George Shuba and how he was very significant in helping Jackie Robinson during his first year in the majors.

Thanks, James. I was referring to monetarily at this given point in time but I do agree that I am a very blessed man. I have two wonderful boys, a great wife, and a steady job. And for all of this I am extremely grateful!
