1878-CC $1 rotated die - does it command a premium?

I have an 1878-CC Morgan in MS 62 that has the reverse rotated 90-93 degrees. Are these pretty common or do they command a small premium?

As far as large rotation Morgans go, 1878-CC is by far the most common. But it's a CC date that often comes in mint state and is usually attractive, so they are VERY popular.

The premium for Mint State coins is actually pretty strong, especially in MS64 and less (where prices are lower) with a sizeable rotation like yours. If it were my coin, I'd want at least 50% more for it, and I've seen plenty of them priced at 100% more.

Had one in MS65 think I paid $1700, about a 50% premium. Nice coin to keep though.

If a rotated die is is a full 180 degrees, then yes it's partially rotated as being only 90-93 degrees. Sorry, not use to all the error and variety terms yet.

There's lots of interest, very collectable and expensive; my $$ take, without seeing yours, is $350-$500.

they are not uncommon but very cool, I have seen at least 10 different rotations on these

The term "rotated die" does not imply a certain degree of rotation.
