ESPN lacks college FB coverage

Anyone else notice this? they have one little segment where Musburger asks Herbstreit a few questions and that's it.

But their NFL coverage......wow! It's about 1/2 of sportscenter. Why don't we just put Ed Werder in bed with Michael Vick so we know everything he's thinking?
And that exhibition game last night. Those announcers were going crazy like they were announcing the Super Bowl.

I would think with college FB starting this weekend, it'd get more coverage. That's all.

Same thing every year. Once college football starts, that is all you will see on ESPN with the exception of a Monday Night Football commercial on every commercial break.

there are only 32 NFL teams to follow in pre-season...how many D1 college teams ~110??

ummm...i think i see a good reason why the focus has been on the nfl for the time being.

On saturdays there is nothing but college football on! Must say though that I am looking forward to Lee Corso's antics again this year.
