like a drowning rat - laughing

I just saw this ad on Craigslist - I had to laugh, but as we had a post about comic book stores vs. card shops, I thought it would interesting:

"We are a failing comic book store so desperate for business that we have to stoop to running free ads in the collectibles for sale section of Craigslist. We can't afford to actually pay for legitimate advertising so we have to settle for whatever pathetic freebies we can scratch up like rats in a dumpster. We will be out of business in six months time but like a drowning man we will flail the hardest right before we go under. Be thankful you didn't buy any of the crap we sell or you would be stuck with it now too just like we are. Magic the Gathering cards and Hero Clix plastic figures have very little nutritional value and taste just aweful in a sandwhich.

So come and check us out or give us a call"

Who knows, maybe they are selling some good stuff cheap? The ad also listed their location as "Pathetic-ville"

Sounds like it may be a disgruntled employee or competitor as I wouldn't imagine anyone in buisness making fun of those that buy from them.
