You basically got it for shipping cost. Not bad. IMO

That is not a bad price. I am not a fan of Q cards but a 9 anything on a card from the 30's is sweet. Do you collect the Cartledge sets?

How the yell did ya find that in ebay search? LOL

If ya wanna flip it, maybe around a month before holiday time, with a better title so boxing card collectors can find it, who knows what it might bring? Maybe $3.99 again or maybe...?

No i don't collect that issue but I like 51 ring sides.... That is what i was thinking a nine in something pre-1940 is pretty cool for that price .. Anyone familiar with that issue is it condition sensitive? Thanks

    "Cartledge sets"

I know nothing about boxing cards, but the auction only received 16 hits, so there must be a better way of listing it in the title?

    I agree on a 1938 card, a 9 has gotta be good.

I'll bet the seller thinks you got a good deal! Same auction a week ago!

If you consider the cost of having that card graded, plus you paid no shipping cost .... I'd say you did very well in purchasing a 71 year old card!

Here's a LINK to a few other current 1938 FC Cartledge's on the 'bay to which you can compare prices.

    Congrats ...

Nice find. I'm surprised that it got a PSA 9 (OC) considering the centering is more akin to a PSA 5. A beautiful card nonetheless!

I follow the 1938 churchman boxing, which is similar and anything 8 and above sells well. A common 7.5 just sold for about $10 free shipping.

$3 for what looks like a 6 seems fair. Pretty pedestrian.
