Is anyone stocking up on UHRs?? How will they do in the long run??

Now that the limit is lifted to 10 is anyone stocking up on UHRs thinking that they will do well in the long run?
For that matter, how do you think that they will do in the long run?

So, how many have been sold?

Agree. An investor may be bailed out if there is a major run-up in gold prices.

The small premium will be a result of the attractive design.

Me too.
Can't see what the rush is to buy these especially at the USM price. I am hesitant to pay big premiums on modern gold.
I try to move this material quickly - at CDN Bid + $20 a trade (a trade can be 1 or more pieces); consequently I will not pay that much for it. I usually just offer melt or a $20 commission back of CDN. I don't care about slab grades on these as 69-70 is how they come from the mint for the most part anyway.
Heritage recently sent me a flyer they had CAC MS65 Saints at $2000. I would rather buy those.
UHRs
The price of gold is set by faith, or lack of, in the currency it is priced in.
Same here.

Me, too. I figure by the time it's sold, the price of gold will have caught up with the original issue price, anyway.

Same with me. I kept mine in the OGP which I really like.

I have seen that seller involved in the promotion du jour on more than one occasion.

Ditto. The UHR is the most attractive coin design and, with a full ounce of gold, there is some potential for profit when hyper-inflation hits as a result of the massive deficit spending.

Yes I bet he does! A hefty future profit (he was buying them at $1350?) with retail at about 2x melt I am sure. I saw the pic of him in CW where he has been buying them like crazy. Perhaps he will catch one of the big fish in his high rent district. Will we be going to the gold standard soon? Maybe he knows something a lot of us don't. Anyhow, while I am risk averse on buying a lot of these, I do admire his optimism. Refreshing, but reminds me of the 1950-D 5c Roll craze in 1964.
