It's draft day!!

Finally the day is here.
For my favorite league and the only one that will get my full attention for the whole season, it is an all day/night event. Childhood friends that no longer live here will be driving/flying in just for the festivities. Starts at about noon (little over an hour from now) at a friend's lake house. The festivities begin with a good ole Louisiana style BBQ. Many adult beverages will be consumed. The actual draft starts about 3 PM. NO FEMALES ALLOWED while the draft is in progress! More adult beverages will be consumed. Draft usually takes 4-5 hours. More adult beverages will be consumed. Upon completion of the draft, drunken women are allowed into the house. Draft is followed by a winner take all poker tournament. Win the tournament and you have paid for the cost of the league. Drink more beverages. By this time there are drunken women dancing in the den in nothing more than tank tops and thongs. Tournament is followed by a not so friendly game of booray (no idea if that is how you spell it). More beverages are consumed. Once the card game finally ends, you grab a woman (usually your own spouse
) and retire to one of the bedrooms.
