Question for the bust half guys...

I dont know much about the series but would you smarter people know how many coins might be in a set consisting of:

An early half collection including every date and most major Overton varieties.

Any ballpark ideas?

In the CBH Lettered edge, 1807 to 1836, series, there are 450 Die marriages.
that is all dates and all marriages R1 to R8.

This depends upon if you include Flowing Hair halves, which are included in the Overton book and assigned Overton numbers, but are not genearlly considered bust halves. Similarly, it also depends upon if you also include Draped Bust Small Eagle and Draped Bust Large Eagle halves, which are also included in the Overton book and have Overton numbers and are bust halves. However, the latter two series are not Capped Bust halves. There are probably 450+ known Overton die marriages across all early half dollar series while the Red Book likely lists 100 or so different varieties. If you want a date set of Capped Bust halves then you would need 1807-1836 exclusive of 1816 for a total of 29 issues and there are at least 15 major overdates in this era.

Dales set is 102 coins or at least the registry set is to be complete.
