I found this tonight rummaging around in the back of the safe. Funny thing is, I don't ever recall seeing it before, much less owning it....

I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

    Very unique toning. Do you think that maybe you originally bought it blast white and it turned in the slab somehow? IMO, if I had bought a coin with that kind of toning it wouldn't have been somethin' I'd easily forget about. Like you said yourself it's not your everyday toned Roosie. image

    The toning (if the reverse is white) appears to have formed in a roll. Very nice, and I find the toning to be pretty!!!

    you can't remember it because the last time you saw it, it was not toned like that

    COLORS, Gotta Love those COLORS......

    It does happen when you go diggin into the safe. I have found coins
    that I dont remember getting but by the looks of them, I know why I purchased them.
