Why not? I had this laying around and I wanted to try NGC after having tried ANACS.

Very interesting. I think these old Republic coins are the perfect test for the service. They do so often come terribly worn like this, it is interesting to see how they treated them. That said, I'm not sure I understand it at all! Grading of ancients remains terribly subjective. Strike means what? well centered, fully struck? Surfaces concern porosity, tooling and harsh cleaning? Where's the wear factored in? Funny that the fully struck, less worn but more off center Severan gets a 2 for strike while the first gets a 4 despite being nearly flat, chopped and still slightly off center.

I know nothing about ancients, but Spoon I totally agree. Ajaan, I really like the Thermius!
