New Purchase 79 Topps Gretzky...

Just bought this last night for $270 after bing cashback discount. What do you guys think overall for an 8? Do you think it has a good shot at crossing over to PSA 8? I will post better scans once I get it in, but it seemed like a great deal and I have wanted this card for a long time. I have never sent a crossover to PSA, do I just send in the slab and ask them to crack only if its psa 8 or better? Whats the fee and turn time on those

    From the scan it looks like only the centering would keep it out of a 9. I would keep it in the slab and use the crossover service rather than a crack-out. Good luck with it!

    Sharp corners. I think you've got an 8 there.
    Just a bit OC L/R & T/B which is common and keeps it from a 9 but overall very nice !!

    Centering is the only issue I can see and it is not bad enough to keep it out of an 8.
