Lawsuits Filed ... Finally ... Over Collapse Of Cowboy's Indoor Training Facility

I guess the timing was finally right as two (2) Cowboy employees filed lawsuits stemming from the collapse of the Cowboy's indoor training facility. The article does not state that the Cowboys were sued. That is somewhat surprising. But, perhaps not, as I would imagine that you do not bite the hand that feeds you. Regardless, however, one of the plaintiffs is paralyzed from the waist down and this can only mean the potential for a multi-million dollar settlement. Or the defense will stand their ground and the matter will go to trial.

"...The failure of the Cowboys' facility was at least the fifth involving a Summit-designed building since 2002..."

    Serial negligent-designers.

Might be safest to tear down everything they ever built.

Texas has become very ungenerous on punitive damages.

Since the Plaintiffs have plead a de facto conspiracy - and
the Defendants are diverse - they should have gone Federal
    and tried for a RICO-triple.

The corporate Defendants' pockets are not as deep as they
might appear. Some of the individual insiders are loaded.

    .......................

I have been in one of those "buildings."

They are improbable tents and should likely be legislated off
    the landscape.
