1820-103 Eliasberg/Logan for Tahoedale

Dale, you mentioned you wanted to see the Eliasberg/Logan 20-103. It took me a while to pull it out and photograph it. It is still raw and although technically UNC, it has some luster disturbances which are exagerated by the photo. I would grade it an AU-58 technically but a coin with such Great eye-appeal and originality it could end up in anything from a 58-62 holder depending upon the day.

Thanks for the posted image. I would have replied earlier, but was out of town til wednesday.
The E catalog describes at lot 1771 your coin as MS60, Slight central weakness Grey-brown with light blue toning. Pleasing surfaces. Always in demand as a key date.
And I agree wholeheartedly. My MS 62 has more luster, but probably not better struck. Nice coin, and thanks for the post
It sold for $3520, which included the 10% juice.
