I haven't paid attention to the threads. Anyone care to tell me what this is, and if it's got a value above $.01?

  • I'll give you two cents for it....image check the Wexler site for the ddr number. That's a nice one. Do you know what date the box was that

it came out of? Batch number and time is also of interest to those following the lp2 errors. There's a very long thread going "ddr's found"

should be enough in the search box to find it.

Thanks, guys. I found it in change today. Knew to keep my eyes open for something like that, just wasn't sure exactly what.

It's not my area of interest, but I'll be happy to sell it or trade it (SPAM) image

If anyone's interested, I'll put it up in the BST forum...

I can't imagine where else it would have come from. Only went to two places today: A coffee shop and the grocery store. Had to have been around 11:45 am, in Champaign Illinois if that helps any.

  • Just checked Wexler's site....that is identified as WDDR-043 . Crawford has it as CDDR-36 Your coin is probably worth currently

about $20 + but would be worth testing the market on Ebay. Not sure what the total population of this error is. As I said before, if

you can provide the date, batch number, and time it was boxed it would help focus projected totals. For instance, the "skeleton finger"

WDDR-006/WDDO-009 are found only in the boxes dated 4/23 and within a time frame between about 9 a.m to 12:30 from what has been

disseminated thus far. Obviously then, the 006/009 is one of the more rare varieties and will have a stronger value long term. Nice find!

You will enjoy the other thread if you're searching these rolls. Lots of information. Good luck!

edited to add....I was writing this while you were adding that you found it in change....wow....congrats....image
