How many coins in an average auction?

If you look a at typical Bowers or Heritage auction about how many coins are in it? Looks to me that the Heritage Long Beach has 4,718 coins, does this sound right for that auction?

Just curiosity going through my head.

  • Well you just answered your own question. An average auction has an average number of coins.

    yes very normal
the regular auctions tend to have high 3 thousands to low 5 thousand and the big ones from heritage (platinum night-ie-*fun*) tend to have 6-8 thousand
may the fonz be with you...always...
