I'm gonna guess 1947, because I was reminded recently that I'd never found one despite years of searching.

Making this one tough to guess with only the one picture! My guess is a 1939 DDR-003. The close relative to the 1939 TDR FS-22.5.

I was thinking the along the same lines as the 1939, but why am I looking at the AM of AMERICA? I thought MONTICELLO and CENTS were the only significant markers on that 39 ???

(well, as seen through a 5X loupe + and not blown up 600 times, lol)

  • Well it is a 1938-D DDR-1, I grade it at 66. I know it is tough from the pics, but if I provided more it would be a give a way!

    TN,
Now show us the whole thing!! Also, show us the other pick-up points to help us identify this DDR. I don't know this one.
