You're referring to David Finkelstein. Not sure if he's a member. I bought a couple of coins from him recently, ebay sales, PCGS slabs.

One was okay (old cleaning on a CBH that PCGS let slide; more hairlines than I liked but otherwise acceptable). The other was an IHC with lots of small verdigris spots not apparent in the photos.

I sent email and returned the IHC. Had to follow up a week later, no response.

Not sure where things stand. He finally answered with "I'll do a refund as soon as the coin arrives. When was it mailed?"

Ugh. I mailed it first class 6 days ago. Should have been there. He deserves a little more time, I think. Reserving judgment.

It looks like seateddime had an ebay scrape with him a couple years ago on the boards and djf-coins joined the boards to defend himself on another issue.....I hate EBAY..............MJ

Have not had an issue with him in years and that was cleared up in a few emails, bought a few coins from him in the last few years, all smooth transaction and properly graded coins.

I would not be concerned at all about buying from. Better than 99% of the selllers on ebay and one of the good guys.
