Thanks. I've been doing some research on it. Heritage has only sold two Peace dollars that were off center. By no means is my coin close to the grade or strike as the one at Heritage but it's the only one I've found after looking at about a million coins. I believe it to be 3-5% off center. I'm not sure if PCGS would slab her as an error or not. I may just send it in for fun. With 78M Peace $ ever made and about 50M survival rate, there are very few of these even with it being so minor.
Niccshee!!! I love different kinds of Peace dollars.. The regs are just freaking boring.. Must of been a couple of yahoos dreaming up the theme of that coin.. Just a boring coin..
Looks like a slightly misaligned reverse die. What does the obverse look like?

Your reverse doesn't look that much off-center... ? The rim by the date on my coin is just a little bigger than the other side... Guess I need to look into it a little more. It has all of the reeding and is the same diameter as a normal Peace $. It's not a fake...

Your is a Misalingned die like mine, your obverse is normal, thus making it a misaligned die with little to Lots and lots of value

Depends on what it looks like really. I've seen nice strike throughs, maybe in low MS sell for around $100-$120. Something more minor will be closer to $30-60 or so...
I'm more of a Vam collector than anything so I "know" vams and their rarity. As far as other types of errors on Peace dollars I can only relate to you the numbers of examples that I have seen in my lifetime (about 1M Peace $) and the prices for which they sold for. Here's the order in which I'd place errors by PRICE:
1) Small strike thru 2) Small lamination 3) Small clipped planchet 4) Small cracket planchet 5) Mis-aligned die 6) Struck thru grease 7) Large lamination 8) Large clipped planchet 9) Large strike thru 10) Large cracket planchet 11) Rotated dies 12) Double clip 13) Off center strike 14) out of collar strike 15) Adjustment trial stike 16) Broadstruck
Looking at Heritage and the populations I've seen, here is the same list by POPULATION:
1) Small strike thru 2) Small lamination 3) Small clipped planchet 4) Small cracket planchet 5) Large lamination 6) Large clipped planchet 7) Large strike thru 8) Struck thru grease 9) Large cracket planchet 10) Rotated dies 11) Off center strike 12) Broadstruck 13) out of collar strike 14) Adjustment trial stike 15) Mis-aligned die 16) Double clip
Note Broadstruck has a lot more population but it commands more of a premium. I think it does becasue collectors like to see major diferences, not suttle ones. I know of only 2 mis-aligned dies. True, since they are suttle, many may not get slabbed. Of all of the coins I've looked at, 95% were raw so in my opinion the coin is rare. We all know, however, rarity does not equal a premium unless there is more demand than supply.

If you find one I'd be willing to give you $ 500 for it if it's a no problem coin.

edited: wow I cant spell....
Your Peace dollar is a mis-aligned die as previously posted. A very cool error on a very cool coin.
You got a fair deal on it.
