Wildwood NJ Coin Show

Holy cow folks... Went today-

Advertisement- Wildwood NJ convention Center over 100 Tables- Stamps, Coins, Currency, and Antiques- Free Admission-

So, I trek down from by beach villa thinking hmmm never done a local show my as well join the other Southern Jersey people and go to a show.

I arrive and am directed to Meeting room 3. I walk in and there are 8 dealers set up; But there is no room for more dealers- I look around for the candid camera because this cannot be the coin show that was advertised in the newspapers, on tv, and via e-mail blast to the companies in the area...

Anyway, if any one is debating the trek down please save your time... go to your local B&M or something- Only two coin dealers were there- Most of the tables were currency or Baseball cards- If you into NJ national Bank notes it could be worth your time... Otherwise save the gas money and do something else. What a joke man...

I am writing a letter to the Wildwood Convention center and the Events Coordinator (Actually my assistant is writing it for me but... ) demaning a refund of my parking money, my tolls to go down, and my gas money. If they would have said come to meeting room 3 because 8 guys brought out their junk then there would have been NO expectations.. But this was absurd.

Damn, that is sad. Hope you get your money back. Sounds like the Wildwood Chamber of Commerce overpromoted and undersold big time!

I'd have been real pissed if I drove from Philly down to Wildwood to see this "show".
