You are in a coin store and a customer comes

in with a small assortment of coins to sell. The

are exactly what you are looking for. After the

dealer makes the purchase of the coins and

the seller leaves the store, do you:

1. Immediately offer the dealer 10% over the
purchase price of the coins.

2. Ask the dealer what they want for the batch of coins.

3. Ask to look at the coins, make small talk and
discuss the coins with the dealer in a manner as
not to indicate your interest.

    10% over purchase price will probably be 500% less than they are worth. I would ask to look at the coins.

    Am I regular customer at this coin store?
    If so, and I'm a regular customer & I trust the dealer...#2.

    If I'm new to the shop, then probably #3.

    I would ask to look at the coins. Then, ask for a price on the ones I wanted.
    I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.
