Will PCGS certify this type:

I am about to send in a submission, and have a
1730 German silver Two-Ducat from Stadt, Nurnburg
(that I think is a Pattern, since most two-ducats were gold)

Will PCGS certify this type,, and is it a Pattern?

Sorry for the horrible quick pics, the reverse is completely mirrored like a Proof coin.
I never noticed the darker spots until I took an 'auto contrast' picture...

I think they will call it a medal and send it back "no service - refund".

It's an off metal strike of the two ducats, I have a couple but all are in NGC plastic. I don't see why PCGS wouldn't holder them though.

Where do you find PCGS submission forms for foreign coins?

    TIA

Not sure on PCGS (maybe, if they have a common reference in front of them), though I have seen similar items in NGC plastic as you mention.

Great piece, wherever it lies entombed! imageimage
