Oh, and can I send this on an economy submission given the max value of $300?

    I just looked in my Parsley book.....U.S. Early Half Dollars Die Varieties 1794 - 1836.

    Definitely Small date and small letters....the Big question....Which of the 14 varities of small date, small letters is it??? image

    is there an upside down 8 variety? It looks like the 8 is upside down.

    Well struck AU, but I cannot discern luster. If the luster's there, she's prob a 53 or 55. Looks like a guido too.

    a 55 is gonna run afoul of the $300 limit.

    Looks like a nice O-114. This is one of the so called "Abominable Bas**rd" or "transitional" varieties.
    Note how narrow the arrowheads are, and the narrow left wing where it joins the eagles body. image
