ISABELLA 25C Grade MS69

While thumbing through an old auction catalog, I read the lot description for a very attractive Isabella. I think the coin was graded by PCGS as a solid gem 65 or 66, anyways. In the lot description it made a reference to an Isabella with the lofty grade of MS69. Little research showed that PCGS has not graded any examples to that level, however they have graded four at the 68 level.

While researching, I stumbled across the registry set of "J&L Commemorative Type Set " (Which is a truely remarkable set, take the time and view it). I noticed that the Isabella in this set was once in a MS69 NGC holder.

Can anyone tell me how many Isabella's NGC has graded as MS69?

Does anyone have any links to any of the other MS69?
How about to any of the other three PCGS MS68's?

The current NGC Census shows 8 Isabella's in MS68 (1 of these is a MS68*), and only a single MS69. Whether the 69 is the coin you reference or not, I do not know. I suppose it depends on whether the tag was returned to NGC when it was crossed to PCGS.

Edit: Now that I see Lee's post, it is obvious that there have been 2 different coins graded MS69 by NGC. One of these was crossed to PCGS as a 68, with the NGC census updated accordingly.

The NG-69 was crossed to PC-68 years ago.
