Centering question on modern shiny football - WITH GRADES

One of these cards is off T/B. I want to sub one. Only problem is I can't tell which one is centered best T/B. Please help. My starving swamp babies are depending on you.

I would say the one on the right has better t/b centering. Why not sub both?

Negative captain. However, I never thought to check eBay for PSA 10's.

Just get him to trim them for you before you ship them out, then you're good to go. I'm sure for an extra $5 he'd add a sick patch too.

Based on the centering, how did this happen?

Is it possible that some graders have no idea how to judge centering on modern borderless cards?

The centering on the Favre on left is quite scary. It's off l/r as well.

if they were not sitting next to each other and you just took it at face value.. the cards are both 10's

That would certainly be true, if there was no such
thing as an OC "borderless" card.

Maybe that is the case. ??? I dunno.

All I do know is that those two 10s were not created equal.

EDIT: I'm an idiot and didn't read the thread very carefully! But the following post WOULD have been my advice in August!

I know both the Forte and Favre cards don't have borders, but you know if the guys helmet or head is cut off a bit, the centering is probably off!

The Forte on the right looks better because of the "white" space between the top edge and his helmet. Also, the smaller bottom border looks better.

Compare those cards to this PSA 10 Refracter version, and specifically check out the arcs in the buildings behind him at the top left of the card:

Either way, I like the Forte on the right, and that Favre on the right is much better than the Favre on the left!

If all the other things on the Forte cards are equal (corners, edges, surface), submit the Forte on the right!!!

I originally asked which one I should sub. No one seemed to know for sure so both were subbed together. I was willing to accept a PSA 9 OC on 1 as long as the other was a PSA 10.
