This 71 clemente psa7 doesn't look right to me, opinions?

font looks wrong

The scan is too small to get a good look at the label but it looks fake to mel.

    I meant the font on the psa label looks wrong. I don't think I've seen that printing except for the craigslist cards.

    It looks odd buy why fake that card in that grade?
    Currently completing the following registry sets: Cardinal HOF's, 1961 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1972 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1980 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, Bill Mazeroski Master & Basic Sets, Roberto Clemente Master & Basic Sets, Willie Stargell Master & Basic Sets and Terry Bradshaw Basic Set

    The craigslist cards weren't always the highest grades, they put bad cards with realistic grades to sell to suckers.

    I think I have seen others with that font ... HOWEVER, the card does NOT look like a "7" ... I'd guess a "6" at best, maybe even 5.5?

    I emailed Joe O and he said it's a rare but real font used years ago. Never saw that one before but it must be ok

    Jim, I had this graded a while back, and my flip seems to match yours pretty well. Based on that I'd say it's ok.

    I have a bunch like that all from the same order in 2000 or 2001. That font didn't stick around long.
