At least you got yours. I was waiting on my Papelbon and scout but they said they couldn't make it happen - so I got a Ben Zobrist/Jason Bartlett co-signer instead. As a Red Sox fan, I was not happy.

Zobrist/Bartlett is at least a dual auto of good players. I'd be annoyed if I had specially purchased the Papelbon and ended up with those guys, but if it was from my own pack pull and I wasn't a BoSox fan, it wouldn't be bad.

What zep got was atrocious. 2 lousy dual autos do not equal one good auto.

Could be worse. I got an email from Panini yesterday letting me know that a redemption was shipped. I was confused because I haven't had a redemption in ages! Turns out it was a 2007 Leaf Limited Tank Tyler rookie auto. I haven't received it yet, but apparently it will look like this:



Shouldn't they be replacing it with an autographed card? After all, they specified 1 hit per pack back then and this would have been the "hit" (sadly). Instead I will get this piece of trash. Reason number 37 why I have stopped ripping modern for the most part. Occasional exceptions are Goudey and A&G.
