I think they're a very nice product; I have quite a few customers who liked the design.

I bought a few packs and you get nothing other than base cards with retail. I saw a Peyton auto and was underwhelmed with the design. Nothing to get me too excited about, the design is retro and ok but not A&G nice.

I've got a bunch of scans in this thread:

    Scans from two ripped boxes

Edit to add: The photography is really sharp on these cards. I only built a base set and skipped the SPs. There are alot of SPs (100) and in my opinion, many of those SPs would have been better served as insert sets. I personally could care less about having political or historical cards as part of the base set. Seemed like a gimmick on UDs part to sell more cards to set builders. The autos are all on card though and look great.

Thanks everyone for the info. Nice looking cards. Was the Bonneville card an insert in the packs??? Also was it a mini card? I sort of liked that card more than the others.....al.

Yes, the Bonneville was a mini. It's part of the National Chicle insert set.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

made my mind up, as soon as my next retirement check comes in I'm buying a box. Was I right though in seeing that 25 of the cards from the set are shortprints limited to only 25 each??? or did I misread something. al.

I think you misread something. There are 100 shortprints in the set. #'s 201 - 300. They are not limited to 25. They include the following:

The Story of Barack Obama (25)
    Woodstock 40th Anniversary (5)
    The Vietnam War (10)
    The Election Years (11)
    NFL Stars in Action (49)

You should expect the following from a box break:

    Box Break: (on average)

    – One (1) Autograph

    – Two (2) Memorabilia Cards

    – Fifteen (15) base set short prints

    – One (1) 5x7 National Chicle R311

    – Four (4) National Chicle Inserts

Good luck and post some scans after you rip.

haven't bought any boxes yet but went to my local target and bought four of the rack packs that contain 20 cards each. got to of the mini's, not sure if I got any short prints, have to check a list. will post some scans once I get them scanned. they are nice looking cards, and the thing I like most is they are not the glossy, let's stick together type cards that I was used to getting from upper deck. al.
