o The mint shows the subscription set as a 2 roll set.
o The order shows 1 P roll line item and 1 D roll line item.
o The price is showing as $0.01 per roll. (They'll fix THAT fast.)
They are currently showing "backordered" surprise! with an "exp. ship date of 9/2" surprise!

The individual rolls are showing on the Upcoming Products page. JP2 - Philly, and a separate product and page for JP4 - Denver, sadly both are $35.95

In a shift from prior releases, the James K. Polk Dollars are also expected to be available under the US Mint's Direct Ship Program. This program allows customers to purchase $250 boxes of coins at face value with no charge for shipping. The Direct Ship Program is intended to be a method for individuals and small business to obtain dollar coins for circulation, but it has also been a source of BU dollar rolls for coin collectors.
As opposed to the premium priced individual rolls offered by US Mint, the rolls contained in the Direct Ship boxes are in generic coin wrappers. Also, coins cannot be ordered from a specific mint and there is no guarantee that the coins have never been circulated.
The James K. Polk Dollar Direct Ship rolls are expected to be available on the US Mint's website on the same release date as the collector rolls.
at least the dollars will be easier to find. I wonder when they make them available by DS, they're not on the list for upcoming products.

.........it does make one wonder about the strategy.
Have to really think wither it is worth the trouble and added expense to fool with them anymore.
........i really don't think you'll have the edge with the mint rolls other than the wrapper.
Yet, realize I have never submitted a golden dollar for grading. I'm just looking at these coins, seeing the hits, and spending them.
They are fun to spend when you can locate the merchants that appreciate them. Look for the ones that have kids. Kids seem to love these things.
