Every nice looking collector coin has been pulled from the market and all that is left is the ugly junk coins that are forever being listed and re-listed for sale, as BU or choice for the grade, no mater the problem.

Has anyone had a chance to cherry pick an old time collection before they can be "marketed" by some dealer that lives in fear of leaving two cents on the table.

Am I just being impatient or is this a real trend?

    Actually, there has been a slow but steady stream of truly wonderful

    coins coming on to the market. You have to know the dealers with the

    connections that allow them to capture coins from this stream. While these

    coins are not cheap, they are not exorbitant either. While 90% of the available

    coins are schlock, theat remaining 10% is worth looking for. However, you will

    probably require a dealer or actively scan major auction houses to get in on them.
