The set is there, but it dropped into 9th place. It looks like the set is the way it was before so I can't explain the drop to 9th.

Mikey ain't gonna be happy. image

This is what happened. . .
At about 9pm CT last nite (3/6), my set was at 72.43% complete.
At that time, I added ten cards - all PSA8 NQ.
I noticed a LOT of cards were missing from the registry listing.
When I was done adding, it said I was at 18.25% complete.
I immediately sent an e-mail to BJ asking her to check into it.
As of 6:30pm CT tonight (3/7), I am still waiting on a response.

In looking at the set as listed on the registry, it seems correct. It looks like the cards that were missing during the update are there now so I shouldn't have to reenter them. Must just be a glitch.

Jay> I have indeed been bidding on a lot of 59s lately, but not that many. And besides. . .if I was giving up the 72 set in favor of 59s, I sure wouldn't be going after those 59s in PSA7 image

    Mike,

This thread got me to check out your set to see how it's coming along. Where's the PSA 10 card??? BTW- My calculations estimate that you have about 570 slabbed 1972's now. Just think...if you were doing a manly & much less communistic set...such as the 1967's for example...you'd be only 39 cards away instead of over 200!!!

    Regards,

    Alan

Its always sad to see the great ones fall...

I guess Mike started leveraging different sets, making more deals and suddenly (CRASH!!!) his whole card world starts to crumble... I told him not to use the Enron expansion methods!

Tough break Mike. I guess I have to call you guys "The Fab Four" now...

Alan> Yeah. . .575 or something like that. The PSA 10 shows up on my registry listing. Seems only the GPA, completion %, and rating are wrong but the cards seem like they're all there. If you want a scan (a mediocre scan, but a scan) then click Here
And I have no intention of entering the world of 67s. . .too many people with far deeper wallets have far too great a head start. . .

Frank> Always nice to be thought of as a "great one". Actually. . .just balanced the checkbook last night. . .OK for now. . .we'll see if the same can be said after the Sun-Times show image

    Gemmint,

Actually - we can be the "Fab Four and Mike" for now.

Then after Mike gets clean, we can have a triumphant reunion tour! image

FB - "Reunion Tour" LOL image

"The Fab Four and Mike" won't charge for autographs will they?

Finally, assuming Mike can't recover from this fall from grace, do you think he has done enough to make the PSA Registry Hall of Fame?

Frank> You make it soud like I had to go to "PSA rehab".

    Mike,

The first step towards recovery is admitting that you have a problem.

Don't worry... we're all your friends. We won't judge you (too much).
Although we do reserve the right to heckle you a bit. Its gonna be alright...

  • Well, I "was" number 5 for about 12 hours. It was a great feeling. Anyways, I've hit the 50% mark, now it's time to move on to the next 50% and also do some upgrading. Thanks to all who've helped me - Jarvi, Castaldi, Aponte and Frank.

    Thanks,

    Dale
