The date of 'Fall' has been removed and replaced with October.
I believe this set will sell out by the end of the opening day.
Gonna be a fun Mint day when these sets go on sale.
Anyone else have a time frame for the sellout??

Product info:

The United States Mint Lincoln Coin & Chronicles Set includes a proof Lincoln Commemorative Silver Dollar and four proof 2009-dated one-cent coins in a brown textured, leather-like package. The one-cent coins are from the 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial One Cent Program in 95 percent copper. The reverse of each coin reflects four different designs, each one representing a different aspect, or theme, of the life of President Lincoln. All of the coins are encased in clear protective capsules, allowing the coins to be removed from the packaging for inspection if desired.

Also included in this set are a reproduction of the Gettysburg address, an image of Abraham Lincoln, and a certificate of authenticity. A reproduction of Abraham Lincoln’s signature is printed in gold foil below his picture. A matching hardcover slipcase protects the product.
$55.95 limited to 50,000 sets....one per customer.

50,000 that seems like a low enough number to make this one a winner, I say 4 days, only because its limited to 1 per, otherwise it would be a day easily

edit: never mind, I just noticed that this set includes other cool items such as a repro of gettysburg address and the gold foil thingy as well as a very nice presentation case, so I now say a day as well, two max

I'd buy 5 if I could -- 4 would have been destined as gifts this coming Xmas season.

Rumor is $55.95 -- which isn't far off the mark considering the proof dollar went for $41.95 and the 4-coin proof cent set is priced at $7.95, and the "chronicles" set will have a bunch of other expensive packaging.

I don't see where you can sign up for a subscription of this set. Perhaps it will be available to be puchased via subscription later in the year ?

The subscription concept was originally intended for regular mint issues such as Proof Sets and Mint Sets and has only recently evolved into the Lincoln Cent Rolls. From what I've seen, subscriptions have never been offered on commemorative type offerings.

As for these coin and chronicles sets, yes they are interesting and hopefully the Lincoln Set doesn't go down the same road as the Ben Franklin Coin & Chronicles Sets.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
