I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

How low can this record go? Will there ever be a human that can break 9.25? Seems impossible, but 20 years ago, I could have never imagined a human breaking 9.7, so who knows?

I think Mr. Bolt will be the template for future sprinters who seek to break 100, 200 and 400 meter dash records. Tall (he is 6'5" if I recall), lean and strong; and fast. I wonder how many steps it takes him to cover 100 meters compared to other world class sprinters who are less than 6'0" tall. I would imagine that his stride is a lot longer than that of shorter sprinters. With a longer stride and with strength and speed at least equal to if not greater than shorter sprinters, I can see why he ran a 9.58.

I wonder if 100 years from now world class sprinters will all be 7'0" tall with the same or greater speed and strength as the shorter sprinters of today?
  • By luck I happened to catch the race on TV. Guy is awesome to watch, Just hope he is clean. Unfortunately nobody today is above suspicion.

I think I did one day LOL!

I was mowing down close to a water retention pond and an alligator came out of the water.

Once he started to head in my direction, I was gone!

Bolt you say? I scoff at his record image
