Madden '10

Anyone else get this? The last Madden I bought prior to yesterday was '07 for PS3 and was utterly disgusted by EA's lack of effort. I bought '10 after reading nothing but praise and have to concur that it kicks ass... great soundtrack and no Madden commentary.

Nope, Madden sucks of late... They actually made the game worse the last few years IMO... Alas, I havent tried 10...

Well I broke down and bought it. Same POS game that it has been the last 3 years. Graphics are horrible, delay is HORRID! They have continued to make this game worse and worse every year. You basically have to PREDICT every damn move while on Defense, the running game sucks. Its going to eBay, pure junk.

Well thats my opinion. I am not one of those guys that hates Madden the guy, so I bash the game. I really think the game has went nowhere in the last few years. Its consistently worse IMO.

As far as sports games go, MLB the show series is by far my favorite. I also play cod4 alot of course...

yeah, the show is awesome. i hate buying baseball games, but i had to get it after i played the demo.

Meh, played another game wasnt impressed. I am getting yards with AD though. Whats up with the closeups of the players on the sidelines, they look like Shreck in those shots.

i have the 09 and its ok, i don't play it as much as i should. its not worth the money.

TECHMO BOWL still the best

I dont know, the game still erks me. Obvious first down or TD on the replay, well ya challange it, to no avail. Commentary still screws up ALL the time. Many examples, constant. Game play s good, but its in NO WAY where I think it should be.

The game freezes up alot during the season, typically after I have a good game, so you lose your season or player progression. Online is horrible, the lag is very bad. But I do like gameplay improvements. Repetitive facial expressions of coaches and Qb's is weak though...

I haven't had much time to play it - overall I've been pleased, but a few things irk me.

When I first saw the refs talking about the TD replay, I thought, cool. Now every time I see it (5x per game), I cringe.

I haven't won a challenge. I stopped since it's a waste of a TO.

Last one I got was 07 as well; such a mix of emotions.

Hated it, kinda liked it, got really bored with it, started to like it again, and now it sits and collects dust.

If they decide to continue with the Madden franchise on an annual basis, they need to more than just increase power ratings... Something innovative and completely different.

With Madden retired (at least for the most part), they need to do the same with this game.

Go old school and bust out TECHMO BOWL with a Bo Knows! I would buy that without any hesitation, period.
