OT -- Need Tech Help

Ok... I bought a new laptop, and the only site it does not work on is here. I can get to the message board, read the messages, but when I try to reply, I get the box, but a big "X" is in the upper right corner where you would start typing..

I know I am missing some app, but just cannot figure out which one..

P.S. I am on my old computer now typing this message, any help would be great...

    I would try updating java and activeX on your browser.

    If you have Vista:

    Since Vista trys to "protect" folks by doing almost everything wrong,
    you will need to look at your java and activeX settings.

    You will need to restart the machine after you make the changes.

    Vista is pretty notorious for telling IE not to do what
    the user requests, WITHOUT first torturing the user.

    I know some stuff about computers and I still have
    to go thru extra steps to post links here.

    Go to mozilla.com and download the Firefox browser. Screw IE.

    I said screw IE... Couldn't get IE to work with this site. Downloaded firefox, and now I am posting again!!

    Agreed!! I have been a FireFox user for about 6 months and don't use IE unless I have to!
